Gillies Lake Beach - Sunday, August 2, 2009
KidSport Timmins has taken on the Annual Heart of Gold Triathlon as one of its charities. Like previous years, we will hold the event in the City of Timmins on Sunday, August 2, 2009. The base for the race would be the Gillies Lake Beach and Cul-de-Sac with the out and back bike route along Goldmine Road, and the run portion around Gillies Lake. The 2009 race will feature a sprint distance triathlon, IronKids event and NEW this year a Corporate Challenge.
Volunteers - We Need Your Help!
This event cannot happen without the generous help of volunteers. We will need volunteers in the areas of:
  • Registration

  • Race Setup Crews

  • Transition Area Control

  • Race Timing

  • Traffic/Athlete Directing
