The Heart of Gold Triathlon is a major community event and could not happen without the generous help of volunteers. The triathlon requires approximately 70 volunteers on race day
Volunteers are helping to support a great cause and are part of the excitement of an outstanding event! Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by an Adult. (ie., mother and daughter)
Possible volunteer assignments include:
- Evening before onsite preparation
- Race morning set up
- Registration
- Body marking
- Kayak patrol
- Transition area control
- Traffic control/athlete directing
- Race timing
- Finish Line
- Runners
- Water station
- Food pickup
- Grounds cleanup during event
- End of race clean up
